INITIAL
The initial state when the SAPC is installed.

ACTIVE
The SAPC is handling traffic and provisioning while the mated pair is replicating the changes.

STANDBY
The SAPC is not handling traffic nor provisioning.
It is ready to take traffic over.

HALTED
The SAPC is in this state when the redundancy function is not running.
This state is the result of an operational procedure.
