1 Alarm Description
The SAPC raises this alarm when it detects a communication failure with the peer.

2 Procedure
2.1 Handle Alarm Policy Control, Geographical Redundancy Unable To Reach Peer
Prerequisites
- Before starting this procedure, ensure that you have
read the following documents:
- Active-Standby Geographical Redundancy or Active-Active Geographical Redundancy.
- For information about Fault Management, refer to Fault Management.
- Before starting this procedure, ensure that the following
tool is available:
- Ericsson Command-Line Interface (ECLI).
- No conditions are required.
Steps
- Check the network IP connectivity between the SAPC nodes.
- Navigate to class GeoRedManager object:
>dn ManagedElementId=1,PolicyControlFunction=1,GeoRedManager=1
- Execute showConfiguration action:
(ManagedElement=1,PolicyControlFunction=1,GeoRedManager=1)>showConfiguration
- Verify the values of Local IP and Peer IP attributes.
- If the alarm does not cease, consult the next level of maintenance support. Further actions are outside the scope of this procedure.
