1 Compatible Network Elements
The SAPC is designed to be backwards compatible. Upgrading the SAPC does not generally require upgrading other network elements. However, certain new or enhanced functions in the SAPC may require upgrades to other network elements.
The SAPC supports interworking with the Ericsson network elements defined in Table 1.
Ericsson recommends keeping all parts of the network up to date. See Table 1 for information about directly connected Ericsson products that were available and had not yet passed End of Maintenance at the time of this SAPC release.
Older releases not listed here, as well as products from other vendors, may still be able to work with the SAPC.
The life cycle plan of other network elements should also be reviewed in order to determine if end-to-end maintenance and support are still provided for the entire network.
