1 Alarm Description

The SAPC raises this alarm when it detects a communication failure with the peer.

The SAPC clears this alarm when it detects that the communication with the peer is re-established.

2 Procedure

Prerequisites

Before starting this procedure, ensure that you have read the following documents:
- Active-Standby Geographical Redundancy or Active-Active Geographical Redundancy.
- For information about Handling Alarms, refer to Handling Alarms.
Before starting this procedure, ensure that the following tool is available:
- Ericsson Command-Line Interface (ECLI).
No conditions are required.

Steps

Check the network IP connectivity between the SAPC nodes.
Navigate to class GeoRedManager object:
>dn ManagedElementId=1,PolicyControlFunction=1,GeoRedManager=1
Execute showConfiguration action:
(ManagedElement=1,PolicyControlFunction=1,GeoRedManager=1)> showConfiguration
Verify the values of Local IP and Peer IP attributes.
If the alarm does not cease, consult the next level of maintenance support. Further actions are outside the scope of this procedure.
