This instruction describes how to change the session idle timer of FTP over TLS.

2   Procedure

2.1   Change Session Idle Timer of FTP over TLS

Prerequisites

• No documents are required.
• No tools are required.
• The following conditions must apply:
  • An Ericsson Command-Line Interface (ECLI) in exec mode is in progress.

A lower session idle timer value than is currently set, can cause existing sessions that are currently idle to be dropped.

Steps

1. Navigate to the FtpServer MO, for example:

   >dn ManagedElement=1,SystemFunctions=1,SysM=1,FileTPM=1,FtpServer=1

2. Enter Config mode:

   (FtpServer=1)>configure

3. Set the new session idle timer value in seconds, for example:

   (config-FtpServer=1)>idleTimer=120

4. Commit the settings:

   (config-FtpServer=1)>commit

5. Verify the settings:

   (FtpServer=1)>show

   The following is an example output:

   FtpServer=1 [...] idleTimer=120
