1 Alarm Description
Alarm is raised by the middleware System Resource Monitor (SRM) service.
This document describes SRM Alarm System Resources High Usage.
System Resources High Usage Alarm is raised when one or more system resources experience high usage.

2 Procedure
2.1 Handle SRM Alarm System Resources High Usage
Prerequisites
- The following condition must apply:
- The alarm is raised by SRM.
Steps
- Was the alarm raised during installation or upgrade system?
Yes: Go to next step.
No: Go to step 3.
- Wait for the installation or the upgrading to be finished
before checking the alarm again. Is the alarm cleared?
Yes: Job is completed.
No: Consult the next level of support.
- Identify fault location from alarm source and alarm additionalText
attribute.
For example, additionalText="System Resources are under high usage".
- Make decision to add nodes to the cluster. Refer to Increase capacity OPI.
- After performing above steps, if there is no SRM alarm, job is completed.
- If the SRM alarm persists after step 5 above, retry again step 4 or consult the next level of support.
