This attribute defines how the Interconnection Charge Billing System (ICBS) and Flexible Charging (FCH) information should be carried in the SIP requests and responses. If set to 0 = Headers, proprietary SIP headers are used and when set to 1 = Parameters, the proprietary parameters, ttc-charging-params, in P-Charging-Vector header are used. The settings of this attribute also controls Attribute Value pairs (AVPs) used when ICBS and FCH are reported in offline charging when applicable.

This attribute defines the required behavior if the MTAS cannot provide ICBS, Interconnection Charge Billing System, data when Japanese Charging Service behaviour is applicable, in ACR(Start) when offline charging is applicable and in SIP signaling. Two options are possible; either terminate (default) the session or allow the session to continue without the ICBS data.
