1 Introduction
This document describes the virtual MTAS licenses. These licenses are required when providing certain services in the network.
1.1 Prerequisites
This section describes the prerequisites that must be fulfilled:
- The user is familiar with the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) area in general.
- NeLS server is installed with valid licenses.

2 Overview
A license is defined at ordering of a product and is available in trial or commercial versions. A trial license is time-limited as opposed to the commercial license that has no limit in time.
3 Handle Licenses
3.1 Configure MTAS NeLS Connection
Ensure that MTAS is connected to the NeLS.
To configure the connection of MTAS towards the NeLS server, refer to Configure Connection to NeLS and Configure SSL Connection to NeLS.
3.2 View License Information
To view license information, refer to View License Information.
4 MTAS Licenses
This section contains information about the licenses for the MTAS services.
- Note:
- The licenses in MTAS are divided into Base/Value pack. A
set of related features are bundled in Base/Value packs.
The different Base/Value packs for the MTAS deployment are listed in Table 1 through Table 4.
