1 Introduction
This document describes how to delete a scheduled event. Deleting a scheduled event prevents the associated scheduled health check jobs from occurring.
A scheduled event can be deleted when no longer needed because of, for example, a new preventive maintenance strategy.
1.1 Prerequisites
This section describes the prerequisites, which must be fulfilled before using the procedure.
1.1.1 Conditions
The following conditions must apply:
- The health check job name is known.
- The scheduled event name to delete is known.
- An Ericsson Command-Line Interface (ECLI) session in Exec mode is in progress.
2 Procedure
To delete a scheduled event:
- Navigate to the HealthCheckM Managed
Object (MO):
>dn ManagedElement=<node_name>,SystemFunctions=1,HealthCheckM=1
- Note:
- The string node_name is specific for the Managed Element (ME).
- Navigate to the health check job for which the scheduled
event must be deleted, for example:
(HealthCheckM=1)>HcJob=jobName
- Note:
- The string jobName is the health check job name.
- Navigate to the health check job scheduler associated
to the health check job:
(HcJob=jobName)>HcJobScheduler=1
- Show the list of scheduled events:
(HcJobScheduler=1)>show
This command is useful to retrieve the scheduled event name in case it is unknown.
The following is an example output:
HcSingleEvent=S_EVENT_201505_003 HcSingleEvent=S_EVENT_201505_004 HcSingleEvent=S_EVENT_201505_005
- Enter Config mode:
(HcJobScheduler=1)>configure
- Delete the scheduled event, for example:
(config-HcJobScheduler=1)>no HcSingleEvent=S_EVENT_201505_003
- Commit the change:
(config-HcJobScheduler=1)>commit
- Verify that the event has been deleted:
(HcJobScheduler=1)>show
The event is no longer shown in the output.
The following is an example output:
HcSingleEvent=S_EVENT_201505_004 HcSingleEvent=S_EVENT_201505_005
