1   Introduction

This document describes how to lock a health check job scheduler related to a job. When the scheduler is locked, no scheduled event, for the current health check job, is triggered.

1.1   Prerequisites

This section describes the prerequisites, which must be fulfilled before using the procedure.

1.1.1   Conditions

The following conditions must apply:

• The name of the job for which the scheduler must be locked is known.
• The current value of attribute administrativeState is UNLOCKED for the job scheduler to lock.
• An Ericsson Command-Line Interface (ECLI) session in Exec mode is in progress.

2   Procedure

To lock a health check job scheduler:

1. Navigate to the HealthCheckM Managed Object (MO):

   >dn ManagedElement=<node_name>,SystemFunctions=1,HealthCheckM=1

   Note:  

   The string node_name is specific for the Managed Element (ME).

   
   
2. Navigate to the health check job for which the scheduler must be locked, for example:

   (HealthCheckM=1)>HcJob=jobName

   Note:  

   The string jobName is the health check job name.

   
   
3. Navigate to the health check job scheduler to lock:

   (HcJob=jobName)>HcJobScheduler=1

4. Enter Config mode:

   (HcJobScheduler=1)>configure

5. Lock the health check job scheduler:

   (config-HcJobScheduler=1)>administrativeState=LOCKED

6. Commit the change:

   (config-HcJobScheduler=1)>commit

7. Verify the scheduler state:

   (HcJobScheduler=1)>show administrativeState

   The following is an example output:

   HcJobScheduler=1 administrativeState=LOCKED
