1 Introduction
This instruction concerns alarm handling.
1.1 Alarm Description
This alarm is issued by ENUM server when the TPS of ERH query exceeds the given TPS threshold. It is determined by the PM measurement ERHTransactionPerSecond. The given TPS threshold is defined by the attribute thresholdHigh.
The possible alarm causes and the corresponding fault reasons, fault locations and impacts are described in Table 1.

Solution |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
|
This alarm is reported when the TPS level reaches or exceeds a predefined threshold level. |
TPS level exceeds the predefined threshold in the given time period. |
ENUM server |
Eventually the ERH service works in a high workload. |
See Section 2 |
- Note:
- An alarm can appear as a result of the maintenance activity.
The alarm attributes are listed and explained in Table 2.

Additional Text |
This alarm is generated by ENUM server when the TPS of ERH query exceeds the configured TPS threshold.;uuid:<Product_UUID>(1) |

thresholdSeverity, which is one of the following:

(1) <Product_UUID> is the universally unique identifier (UUID) of machine
that generates the alarm. The value can be fetched from /sys/devices/virtual/dmi/id/product_uuid on the PL
node.
1.2 Prerequisites
This section provides information on the documents, tools, and conditions that apply to the procedure.
1.2.1 Documents
This instruction references the following document:
1.2.2 Tools
Not applicable.
1.2.3 Conditions
No conditions.
2 Procedure
To clear the alarm, do the following:
- Limit the TPS of ERH query to fall below the predefined TPS threshold level.
- If the TPS of ERH query cannot be limited, create a PM
job to increase the threshold.
For details, refer to Create Threshold Monitoring Job.
- This alarm is automatically cleared when the TPS of ERH query falls below the predefined TPS threshold level.
- Confirm the alarm has ceased. If the alarm remains, consult the next level of maintenance support. Further actions are outside the scope of this instruction.
