1   Introduction

This document provides the information about the hardware for KVM DL380 Gen9 / Gen10 deployment, reference hardware, and how to order them.

1.1   Relation Information

2   Requested Hardware

The following hardware are required:

• For Basic deployment, 2 HP DL380 Gen9 (G9) servers, or 2 HP DL380 Gen10 (G10) servers (referred to in this documents as "Host1" and “Host2”) are needed.
• For Single Server deployment, 1 HP DL380 Gen9 server, or 1 HP DL380 Gen10 server (referred to in this document as "Host1") are needed.
• Two 366T Ethernet Adaptors are required for Gen10 server, One or two 366T Ethernet Adaptors are required for Gen9 server.

3   Reference Hardware List

Table 1 lists the reference hardware information for each G9.

Ethernet Port	4 x 1 GB ports embedded. 4 x 1 GB ports on extended network card. It is recommended to use HP 366T/366FLR which supports Intel DPDK technology.
HP Storage Controllers	HP Smart Array P440ar/2G FIO Controller

4   How to Order Reference Hardware

The reference hardware required by IPWorks software is ordered through Partner Platform. For each DL380 G9 / G10 server, order the following products:

(1)  The 366T adaptor is used to replace the 331FLR adaptor in "INE 105 4606/0196".
