<h1>Dual Band site solutions and antenna configurations </h1>

<p>The BTS Site Package program defines and documents the
macro cellular BTS site packages to be used in the BSS roll-out. A complete
BTS Site Solution consists of</p>


<ul>
<li><p>BTS</p>
</li>
<li><p>Antennas and feeders</p>
</li>
<li><p>Diplexers</p>
</li>
<li><p>Cellular transmission</p>
</li>
<li><p>Other site solution material and equipment.</p>
</li>
</ul>


<p>By using a specific BTS Site Configurator program, it is
easy to select the right components to compose the site, to order the components,
and to calculate the price. The DB antenna/diplexer solutions are available
and presented in the Configurator as well.</p>


<p>The following dual band site configurations are currently
recommended.</p>

<p>This site configuration can now be realised with the current
antenna solutions. It has the following properties:</p>


<ul>
<li><p>Single band antennas (current accepted
models)</p>
</li>
<li><p>Dual polarisation possible</p>
</li>
<li><p>MHA possible</p>
</li>
<li><p>Small risk for intermodulation</p>
</li>
<li><p>Reliable antenna measurement</p>
</li>
<li><p>Usable now</p>
</li>
<li><p>Extra feeders needed</p>
</li>
<li><p>Extra antennas for the other band</p>
</li>
</ul>


<p>The maximum configurations with the amount of antennas
and feeders described above are the following:</p>

</li>
<li><p>Requires many feeders</p>
</li>
<li><p>Antennas still under testing</p>
</li>
</ul>
