Purpose

This procedure describes how to deactivate Dynamic Frequency and Channel
Allocation in a BTS.

DFCA can be deactivated in a BTS by setting the parameter DFCA
Mode to either standby or off. The difference
is the following:

The standby mode does not delete the BIM tables
from the DFCA BTS so the BIM update process continues and return to DFCA can
happen quickly.

The off mode deletes the created BIM tables and
stops the BIM update process in the BTS. To return to DFCA, you first need
to set DFCA Mode to standby.
