<p><em>PFC Ack BLER Limit</em> parameter defines the maximum BLER for
RLC acknowledged mode used with Link Adaptation and BLER monitoring algorithm
in Quality Control. The max. BLER can be defined separately for each Transfer
Delay value ranges: all PFCs having the Transfer Delay value - received in
ABQP parameter - within the same range, will have the same maximum BLER for
RLC acknowledged mode.</p>


<p> If EQoS feature is disabled, only the <span class="menupath-sem">Not available</span>
value is used from this parameter. If EQoS feature is enabled, the <span class="menupath-sem">Not
available</span> value is used when no ABQP is available for the PFC.</p>


<p><span class="menupath-sem">PFC Unack BLER Limit parameters</span></p>


<p>With these parameters you can define the maximum block error rate for
SDU error ratio classes.</p>


<p><em>PFC Unack BLER Limit</em> parameter defines the maximum BLER
for RLC unacknowledged mode used with Link Adaptation and BLER monitoring
algorithm in Quality Control. The max. BLER can be defined separately for
each SDU Error Ratio value: all PFCs having the same SDU Error Ratio value,
received in ABQP parameter, will have the same maximum BLER for RLC unacknowledged
mode. </p>


<p>If EQoS feature is disabled, only the Not available value is used from
this parameter. If EQoS feature is enabled, the Not available value is used
when no ABQP is available for the PFC.</p>


<p>The parameter replaces maximum BLER in unacknowledgement mode (BLU)
parameter in a PCU where EQoS feature is supported.</p>

<p>With these parameters you can define the Aggregate BSS QoS Profile Traffic
Class that shall be used for predefined Signaling PFCs. </p>


<p><em>PFC Predefined Traffic Class</em> parameter defines the ABQP
traffic class used for predefined BSS PFCs and the PSW services not supporting
PFC procedures.</p>

<p><span class="menupath-sem">BSC Quality Control action parameters</span></p>


<p>With these parameters you can define the thresholds for the Quality
control actions (reallocation, NCCR, QOS renegotiation and Drop). PCU Quality
Control performs necessary actions based on these threshold parameters on
a PFC basis.</p>


<p>Quality Control action is triggered whenever the quality degradation
has lasted for a certain number of block periods. Different actions may be
triggered based on the duration of the quality degradation. </p>


<p>If EQoS feature is enabled (PFC Feature Mode is TRUE) in the PCU and
NCCR feature is enabled, all four actions are possible. If EQoS feature is
disabled (PFC Feature Mode is FALSE) in the PCU, neither QoS Renegotiation
nor Drop actions are triggered. If NCCR feature is disabled, no NCCR action
is triggered. Reallocation action can always be triggered.</p>

<p>With these weight factor parameters you can define the scheduling weights
in proportion of residual bandwidth. These parameters have an effect on PCU
scheduling, which shares the residual capacity based on scheduling weight
factor and theta parameter values. The parameters can be modified on allocation
and retention (ARP) and traffic class (TC) basis.</p>

<p>Traffic Class and Allocation and Retention Priority (Precedence) information

uplink and downlink Scheduling Step Size parameters. The default values yield
similar behavior as BSS10.5 default step sizes 3,6,12. </p>

<p>With this parameter you can define the safety margin used in Admission
control. Admission control also uses BTS Load Safety Margin to estimate the
needed capacity for radio and EDAP. The aim of the Safety Margin is to ensure
the guaranteed or nominal bitrate even when the radio link conditions vary.</p>

<p>The new BRR scheduling algorithm replaces the S10/S10.5
priority based scheduling in PCU2. Consequently, the following existing SSS
parameters are not used by PCU2. Note that these parameters remain relevant
