Reflection In-Place Activation

Tips, Tricks and Traps

There are many ways to launch Reflection In-Place.

The easiest is to simply drag a Reflection Settings file (*.rsf, *.r1w, *.r2w, *.r4w) from the Windows Explorer over the browser and drop it into the client area. You can also drop the settings file directly into the browser's 'Address' or 'Location' entry fields.

You can simply type the path to the Reflection settings file in the Address or Location Edit Box and press Enter.

You can do any of the above and choose to save it as a Favorite or Bookmark. Now you can launch Reflection In-Place with a single mouse click.

You can select 'Open' from the File Menu and type the path to the settings file in the Open dialog.

You can create a shortcut to launch Reflection In-Place in your browser. First create the shortcut specifying your browser's full filespec for the 'Command' and entering an appropriate name for the shortcut. Now bring up the shortcut's properties. Add the full filespec for your Reflection settings file to the end of the field called 'Target'. For example: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" "C:\Program Files\ReflectionBeta\User\MyFile.rsf" For Netscape, simply replace the IExplorer filespec with the appropriate Netscape filespec
