SPROG: A Motorola Syntor/X Compatible programmer.
SPROG will produce data files compatible with
the modules for Syntor/X radios. This version
is a 2M Amateur band only version.
BETA Release 07.12.95.

Quick and dirty dox for SPROG BETA.

It's kind of cheezy, but what the hell, it's a BETA...

SPROG.EXE The SPROG executable file.
SPROG.DOC SPROG documentation in MS-Word 6.0 format.
SPROG.TXT SPROG documentation in ASCII text format.
SPROG.PIF Sample .PIF file for Windows.
SPROG.ICO SPROG icon for Windows.
README.TXT This file.

1) Installation.
Copy all of the above files into a directory.
   Type SPROG.
   Hit enter.
If you see the credits, go make yourself a grilled cheese sandwich.
If not, something's wrong. (see "What to do when you've been SPROGGED")

2) Printing the documentation.
   ASCII Text Version:
Type COPY SPROG.TXT LPT1: (or whatever your printer port is called.)

   Word Version:
   Load Windows.
   Click on Word.
   FILE
     OPEN
       SPROG.DOC
   FILE
     PRINT
       OK

3) What to do if you've been SPROGGED.
If you don't see the credits, you probably don't have enough free RAM to
   run SPROG.
Type MEM /C /P from the DOS prompt. You should have at least 550K of
conventional memory to run SPROG. If not, you'll need to free up some
room. Sprog runs fine on my system with 559K free.
