If you chose to downgrade, please ensure that your password is no longer than 8 characters or you will be locked out of your unit. Notes: - Please update far end of a link before the near end - Please refresh browser cache when logging into a v4.1.0 unit for the first time - LLDP traffic is no longer carried over the RF link if inband management is enabled - UNMS cannot upgrade airFiber firmware loaded with pre-beta8 firmware (i.e. -beta7, etc.) -------------------------------------------- Version 4.0.5 (September 18th, 2019) -------------------------------------------- New Features: - none Improvements: - Addresses CSRF security issue Known Issues: - Ethernet Carrier Drop Block Data After Pulse does not work and should be disabled This is true for all releases where this feature exists Notes: - Recommend updating far end of link before near end -------------------------------------------- Version 4.0.3 (January 29th, 2018) -------------------------------------------- New Features: - none Improvements: - Security patch to address Read Only user privilege escalation Known Issues: - Ethernet Carrier Drop Block Data After Pulse does not work and should be disabled This is true for all releases where this feature exists Notes: - Recommend updating far end of link before near end -------------------------------------------- Version 4.0.2 (November 8th, 2017) -------------------------------------------- New Features: - none Improvements: - Fixed Static IP issue where static IP gateway was not programmed into router table Known Issues: - Ethernet Carrier Drop Block Data After Pulse does not work and should be disabled This is true for all releases where this feature exists - Spectrum Analyzer not yet included Notes: - Recommend updating far end of link before near end -------------------------------------------- Version 4.0.1 (October 13th, 2017) -------------------------------------------- New Features: - none Improvements: - Removed lock to QPSK - Added ACK Timing compensation for long links to improve throughput - Fixed Static IP issue where DNS IPs were not being by new GUI after factory reset - Fixed issue where event names in engineering log were out of sync with actual event name Known Issues: - Spectrum Analyzer not yet included Notes: - Recommend updating far end of link before near end -------------------------------------------- Version 4.0 (August 29th, 2017) -------------------------------------------- New Features: - All New GUI - Receive Target Power (control tx power to hit remote receive target) - Immediate changes for Basic Wireless Settings; RF link maintained where possible - Added strict timing mode for improved co-location Improvements: - Improved RF filtering / adjacent signal rejection - Improved 56 MHz channel performance - Addressed issue with unstable (periodic) links when using VLAN priorities - Ethernet Carrier drop now has high and low trigger points, new timers, etc. - Various Security Updates Known Issues: - IMPORTANT: When updating, after pushing the upgrade button on the GUI, wait 10 seconds and then refresh your browser. This will ensure that you receive the newest GUI code after the radio reboots. Rare instances of corrupt configurations have been reported if this procedure is not followed. This issue only effects the AF11FX and is related to the GUI you are upgrading FROM. Even if you are upgrading via AC2, you should still refresh your screen when logging in for the first time to clear the browser cache. - Spectrum Analyzer still Java based - If your configuration has ALL three of the characteristics listed: 1. You have inband management disabled 2. You have a management VLAN enabled 3. You manage a remote radio (far side of an airFiber RF link) by connecting the remote data port to the management port either directly or through a switched network you will need to enable inband management on the remote radio BEFORE you upgrade. After the upgrade, you can then reconnect to the remote radio and disable inband management. Failure to do so will leave the remote radio unmanageable over the RF link (local access via the management port will still function normally). Notes: - Recommend updating far end of link before near end -------------------------------------------- Version 3.7-RC3 (April 7, 2017) -------------------------------------------- New Features: - n/a Improvements: - n/a Fixes: - Addresses various Web UI security issues Known Issues: - n/a Notes: - n/a -------------------------------------------- Version 3.7-RC1 (Mar 21, 2017) -------------------------------------------- New Features: - n/a Improvements: - n/a Fixes: - Fixed issue blocking the System Tab from displaying Known Issues: - n/a Notes: - n/a -------------------------------------------- Version 3.6.1 (Mar 17, 2017) -------------------------------------------- New Features: - Initial Release with XSS fix Improvements: - n/a Fixes: - Addressed XSS issue in Web UI language handling Known Issues: - n/a Notes: - n/a
