Managed Object Types Overview

The VSLM object model includes a set of managed objects to supports storage management of first class disk (FCD) in a vSphere datacenter. These managed objects, listed in the pane on lower left, provide the following query and storage management operations:

• Access to an instance of the VSLM service
• Session management for the VSLM service instance
• Managed object with multiple methods for virtual storage lifecycle management
• VSLM task management
• Managed object with multiple methods for managing FCD storage objects
