To connect your Cable/DSL Modem or other Broadband access device, simply use the cable provided by the modem manufacturer and plug it from your modem to the Global port on the DI-701. Please note that your Cable/DSL or Broadband access device must be able to connect to Ethernet to work with the DI-701. If you did not receive a cable with your modem, most modems will work with a standard Ethernet cross-over cable which can be purchased at most computer retailers.
