Installing D-Link DFE-660 Ethernet PC Card
For Windows NT 4.0 Users

This document contains installation notes, which is not included in the
DFE-660 Ethernet PC Card USER'S GUIDE or onscreen instructions,
for Windows NT 4.0 users regarding DFE-660 PC Card installation.

1.0 Installation
----------------

     Follow these steps:

     Step 1
        Double-click on the My Computer icon.
        Then, double-click on the Control Panel icon.

     Step 2
        In the Control Panel window, double-click on the Network icon.

     Step 3
        In the Network window, double-click on the Adapter icon.

     Step 4
        In the Adapter window, click the Add button.
        A list of all available drivers will be displayed.

     Step 5
        Choose the "Have Disk..." button, for third-party adapters not
        included in the list, then type a path name to provide a driver.

     Step 6
        Insert the DFE-660 installation disk into Drive A, and
        type:
              A:\

        Then, Windows NT will attempt to locate the OEMSETUP.INF file in
        the specified path. If it does exists, Windows NT will then copy
        the appropriate drivers to the Windows NT system.


        Till now, the DFE-660 drivers are now installed.

        The installation procedure will then proceed to the next steps.
        Please refer to your Windows NT installation guide for information
        on these steps.


        Such steps are:
        Windows NT will pop up one window to ask the value of some
        keywords. Such as  "IO Port", "IRQ Number", "Network Address",
        "Auto Negotiation", "Full Duplex".

        If you want to change the default MAC Address, USE the
        "Network Address" to specify the MAC Address. The Network Address
        is a 12 digits string(example: 001122334455)


